The Ties that Bond features a middle schooler who decided to create a fundraiser selling paracords with proceeds to benefit the very org that helped her family through a difficult time.
My work with the non-profit org, Widows Orphans & Disabled Firefighter’s Fund (WODFF) as a writer involved interviewing members of the LA Firefighting community and sharing their experiences. WODFF was kind enough to publish my stories for their LAFD employee network and to the general public.
